About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Billing & Receivables Officer/Executive to manage the billing, receivables, and reporting activities for our utility-scale and C&I; renewable energy (Solar, Wind, and BESS) projects. The incumbent will be responsible for timely and accurate customer invoicing, tracking and collection of receivables, and preparation of related MIS and reports, ensuring effective coordination with internal teams, customers, and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
● Prepare and raise accurate customer invoices on a monthly basis, in line with project milestones, contracts, and agreed billing schedules.
● Track, follow up, and ensure timely collection of receivables from customers.
● Monitor ageing of receivables and escalate overdue accounts for resolution.
● Maintain project-wise billing and collection records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
● Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes in coordination with the project and commercial teams.
● Prepare periodic MIS reports on billing status,
outstanding receivables, and collection trends.
● Support monthly closing activities related to billing and receivables.
● Coordinate with internal departments (project, commercial, and accounts teams) and customers to ensure smooth billing and collection processes.
● Maintain proper documentation of invoices, credit notes, and collection correspondence.
● Ensure billing and receivables records are accurately maintained in the ERP system.
Qualifications
● Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) is mandatory.
● M.Com, MBA (Finance), CMA (Inter) will be an added advantage.
● 8-10 years of relevant experience in billing and receivables management, preferably in the renewable
energy, EPC, infrastructure, or construction industry.
● Proficiency in Tally ERP, SAP/Oracle or other ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
