Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and qualified individual to join our faculty as an Assistant Professor of Hindi. The successful candidate will contribute to the academic and cultural development of the department by teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses, engaging in scholarly research, and promoting the study of Hindi language, literature, and culture.

Key Responsibilities
- Teaching and Curriculum Development:
- Conduct lectures, seminars, and workshops on Hindi language, literature, and related areas.
- Develop and update course syllabi and instructional materials to align with departmental goals and standards.
- Employ innovative and effective teaching methodologies to engage and inspire students.
- Research and Scholarly Activities:
- Undertake original research in Hindi language, literature, culture, or linguistics.
- Publish research findings in reputable journals, books,



or other academic platforms.
- Seek opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration within and outside the institution.
- Student Mentorship and Support:
- Provide academic and career guidance to students.
- Supervise student research projects, theses, or dissertations as required.
- Encourage student participation in cultural and literary events.
- Departmental and Institutional Contribution:
- Participate in curriculum planning, departmental meetings, and administrative tasks.
- Organize and contribute to departmental events, such as workshops, conferences, and cultural programs.
- Engage in outreach activities to promote the Hindi language and culture within the community.
- Career development:
- Stay updated on advancements in the field of Hindi language and literature.
- Attend and present at academic conferences, seminars, and workshops.
