Job Description

The Executive – Statutory Requirements (Labels & Products) is responsible for ensuring that all product labels, packaging, and related documentation comply with applicable statutory, regulatory, and legal requirements. The role involves reviewing label content, coordinating with cross-functional teams, monitoring regulatory updates, maintaining compliance records, and ensuring products are market-ready in accordance with national and international regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Review and approve product labels, artwork, and packaging for regulatory compliance.
- Ensure mandatory statutory information is accurately displayed on product labels.
- Verify compliance with applicable laws, standards, and industry regulations.
- Coordinate with Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Production, Marketing, and Packaging teams.
- Monitor changes in government regulations and update labeling requirements accordingly.
- Maintain documentation, approvals, and compliance records for audits.
- Support product registration and regulatory submissions where required.




- Conduct compliance checks before product launch or packaging revisions.
- Assist during internal, customer, and regulatory audits.
- Identify compliance risks and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Ensure claims, warnings, nutritional information (where applicable), and product declarations meet legal requirements.
- Train relevant departments on labeling and statutory compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Food Technology, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in regulatory affairs, labeling compliance, quality assurance, or statutory compliance in FMCG background.
- Knowledge of applicable labeling regulations and statutory requirements.
- Familiarity with ISO, GMP, FSSAI, CDSCO, FDA, BIS, Legal Metrology, or other relevant regulations, depending on the industry.
