Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Cost Accountant to join our Finance team. The candidate will be responsible for cost analysis, product costing, inventory monitoring, variance analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze manufacturing and production costs to identify cost-effective methods.
- Prepare product costing and compare standard costs with actual production costs.
- Monitor and analyze material, direct labour, overhead, and manufacturing costs.
- Conduct variance analysis and investigate discrepancies.
- Prepare budgeting and cost-related reports in coordination with various departments.
- Monitor inventory levels and participate in physical inventory verification.
- Ensure accurate classification and recording of expenses.
- Verify material costs and maintain accuracy of costing data in the accounting system.




- Perform month-end activities including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Support internal audits and ensure compliance with applicable accounting practices and regulations.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and improved profitability.
- Prepare and present cost-related reports to management and stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills
- Solid knowledge of Cost Accounting & Costing.
- Experience in Manufacturing Costing.
- Hands-on experience in Product Costing.
- Strong understanding of Standard vs. Actual Cost & Variance Analysis.
- Knowledge of Inventory & Material Costing.
- Experience in Budgeting, Cost Control & Analysis.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and reconciliations.
- Proficiency in Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience.

Preferred Skills
- CMA / ICWA qualification.
- Experience in Chemical, Pharma, Food, API or other manufacturing ind
