Role Definition

A librarian is in charge of collecting, organizing, and issuing books to the students.



They are also in charge of updating the library resources and have relevant books supporting the academics of the school.

a. Organizing events on reading and play

b. Displaying titles on the shelves for easy navigation and listing relevant resources on notice boards related to ongoing topics in KG and Primary (Grade wise)

c. Inviting guest speakers during library sessions

d. Story reading and book talk sessions

e. Book/ story review competitions

f. Author week to extend a reading culture

g. Encouraging to design book jackets and other activities to promote reading for Primary and Secondary

h. Appropriate Interior of the library as per the age including the choice of furniture and
