Senior ASM (GT)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Asst Sales Manager – General Trade (GT) to drive sales growth, distribution expansion, and market development across Karnataka. The ideal candidate should have robust FMCG sales experience, proven team-handling capabilities, and a solid understanding of primary and secondary sales.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive primary and secondary sales across the assigned markets and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Manage and expand the General Trade (GT) network across Karnataka.
- Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve business objectives and improve productivity.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key market stakeholders.
- Identify and appoint new distributors to strengthen the distribution network.
- Drive market expansion by identifying new territories, outlets, and business opportunities.
- Plan and execute brand promotion, visibility, BTL, and market activation activities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities,



pricing, distribution, and product availability.
- Ensure effective beat planning, outlet coverage, merchandising, and sales execution.
- Analyse sales performance and prepare regular reports, forecasts, and action plans.
- Ensure optimum stock availability and effective inventory management across the distribution network.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of sales and marketing initiatives.

Candidate Requirements
- Experience: Relevant experience in FMCG Sales, preferably in General Trade.
- Market Knowledge: Strong experience and market understanding across Karnataka.
- Proven experience in team handling and sales team management.
- Strong understanding of primary and secondary sales.
- Experience in distributor appointment and distributor management.
- Demonstrated ability in market expansion and business development.
- Experience in executing brand promot
