Job Summary

Responsible for improving manufacturing processes, productivity, manpower utilization, workflow, and production efficiency. The role will involve analysing production activities, identifying process improvements, and coordinating with Production, Quality, Design, Purchase, and other departments.

Key Responsibilities
- Study and improve manufacturing processes, workflow, and production methods.
- Prepare and maintain process flow, work instructions, and production-related documents.
- Analyse manpower, machine utilization, cycle time, and productivity.
- Conduct time study and method study to improve operational efficiency.
- Identify bottlenecks, delays, wastage, and process-related issues and suggest improvements.
- Assist in production planning and capacity utilization.
- Develop and monitor productivity and efficiency reports/MIS.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Design, Purchase, and Stores for smooth workflow.
- Support 5S, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement activities.
- Assist in reducing production cost, material wastage,



and unnecessary process time.
- Monitor implementation of improved processes and evaluate results.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Industrial Engineering / Mechanical Engineering
- Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering may also be considered based on experience.

Required Skills
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production systems

- Knowledge of 5S, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen
- Basic knowledge of ERP/MIS and MS Excel
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Experience
- Freshers can be considered with relevant engineering qualification and good technical knowledge.
- 1–3 years of experience in machinery manufacturing/engineering industry will be preferred.
