Job Summary :

We are looking
for Director- Planning & Development
with solid hands-on experience in
civil construction and contracting
to lead the planning, tendering, budgeting, execution, and completion of large-scale construction projects for a reputed institution based in
Pune.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the
end-to-end planning and execution
of civil construction projects from
site mobilization and excavation through foundation, RCC/structural works, finishing, commissioning, and handover
.
- Lead and oversee
tendering activities
, including tender preparation, BOQ review, estimation, contractor evaluation, technical/commercial comparison, negotiations, and finalization.
- Develop project execution plans, schedules, milestones, resource plans, and project control mechanisms.
- Prepare and monitor
project budgets, cost estimates, cash flows, BOQs, quantity variations, cost forecasts, and cost control measures
.
- Manage contractors, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure effective




contract administration
, including work orders, billing, variations, claims, contractor performance, and commercial negotiations.
- Oversee construction activities including
excavation, foundations, RCC, structural works, masonry/AAC blockwork, internal and external plastering, waterproofing, flooring, finishing, façade, and MEP coordination
.
- Monitor project progress against approved schedules and implement
recovery plans
for delays and critical path deviations.
- Ensure compliance with
construction safety standards, EHS requirements, safety precautions, quality standards, and statutory regulations
at project sites.
- Handle or coordinate
government liaisoning and statutory approvals
, including building permissions, NOCs, inspections, completion/occupancy requirements, and coordination with relevant authorities.
- Coordinate with Civil, Structural, MEP, Architecture, Procurement, Finance, Planning, and Sit
