Job Description

We are looking for an experienced
AEM Sites Backend Developer/Lead
with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Adobe Experience Manager. The candidate should have strong expertise in AEM backend development, Java, OSGi, Sling, JCR, workflows, integrations, and AEM architecture.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable
AEM Sites backend components and services
.
- Build
Sling Models, Servlets, OSGi services, JCR repositories, workflows, templates, and components
.
- Develop backend logic and content structures in AEM.
- Integrate AEM with external systems using
REST/SOAP APIs
.
- Manage AEM workflows, replication, author/publish environments, and content delivery.
- Work on performance optimization, scalability, security, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, architects, and business stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews,



sprint planning, and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with
AEM 6.x / AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS)
.
- Strong knowledge of
Java/J2EE, Apache Sling, OSGi, JCR/Apache Jackrabbit
.
- Experience with
Sling Models, Servlets, OSGi services, AEM Workflows, MSM
.
- Valuable understanding of
HTL (Sightly), Content Fragments, and Experience Fragments
.
- Hands-on experience with
Apache Felix, CRXDE, Maven, Git, Dispatcher, and caching strategies
.
- Strong experience in
RESTful services and third-party integrations
.
- Good debugging, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience working in
Agile/Scrum environments
.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Adobe AEM certification is preferred.
