The role in a gist:
The Vendor Payment Junior Executive will support the accounts payable process, focusing on managing vendor
payments, Purchase Requisitions (PRs), and Purchase Orders (POs). This role involves ensuring timely and
accurate payments to vendors, handling PRs and POs, and maintaining detailed records to support financial
and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- Purchase Requisition (PR) Management: Review and validate Purchase Requisitions (PRs) to ensure they are complete and comply with company policies. Coordinate with internal departments to obtain necessary approvals and ensure accurate PR processing. Track and manage the status of PRs to ensure timely conversion to Purchase Orders (POs).
- Purchase Order (PO) Management: Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs) based on approved PRs and ensure they are sent to vendors accurately and promptly. Monitor and follow up on POs to ensure timely receipt of goods and services. Reconcile POs with vendor invoices and resolve any discrepancies.
- Record Keeping and Reporting:



Maintain accurate records of all vendor transactions, PRs, and POs. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Prepare reports on PRs, POs, and vendor payments as needed.
- Compliance and Accuracy: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to PRs, POs, and vendor payments. Review payment requests, PRs, and POs for accuracy and completeness. Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the accounts payable and procurement teams. Assist with filing, data entry, and other tasks to support the finance and procurement functions.

Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in Accounts.
- B.com Graduate/M.com.
- Understanding of accounting principles and procurement processes.
- Knowledge of MS Office and accounting software (Tally, etc).
- Languages: Proficiency
