Job Title: Draftsman / CAD Draftsman

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman with positive knowledge of AutoCAD, technical drawing, and DTCP norms and approval requirements. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate drawings, plans, layouts, and documentation in accordance with project specifications, applicable building regulations, and DTCP guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed 2D/3D drawings, plans, elevations, sections, and layouts using AutoCAD or other CAD software.
- Prepare building and site plans in accordance with applicable DTCP norms, rules, and development regulations.
- Prepare drawings and documents required for DTCP planning permission and approval processes.
- Review site measurements, survey details, and project requirements before preparing drawings.
- Convert sketches, specifications, and design concepts into accurate technical drawings.
- Modify and update drawings based on client, engineer, architect, or authority requirements.
- Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, site staff,



and approval consultants.
- Check drawings for accuracy, dimensions, completeness, and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Incorporate revisions and maintain proper drawing version control.
- Prepare layouts and supporting drawings for submission to relevant authorities.
- Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and approval-related documents.
- Assist in resolving drawing-related queries raised during approval and execution stages.

Required Qualifications:
- Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant drafting software.
- Good knowledge of DTCP norms, planning requirements, and approval procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, civil, and engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of building regulations, setbacks, plot coverage, parking, road width, and related planning requirements.
