Sample Collection and Processing
- Execute field and facility sampling: Perform complex sampling methodologies including Whole-Carcass Rinse (WCR), neck skin/tissue excision, and environmental gauze cloth or boot swabbing. [1, 2, 3]
- Maintain sample integrity: Adhere strictly to aseptic techniques using sterile tools (scalpels, forceps) to prevent external contamination and cross-contamination between batches. [1]




- Prepare sample matrices: Process diverse diagnostic materials including whole-bird rinsates, blended skin/muscle tissue, poultry feed, and facility water. [1, 2, 3]

2. Laboratory Analysis and Testing
- Media & culture preparation: Formulate, sterilize, and quality-check agar plates and liquid non-selective enrichment media (such as buffered peptone water).
