Job Description

The EHS Associate Manager will support and help lead all environmental, health and safety activities at the Kundaim-Goa plant to ensure legal compliance, protect employee health and safety, minimize environmental impact, and embed a strong EHS culture. The role is hands-on and requires operational involvement, audits, training, incident investigation and liaison with statutory authorities (e.g., Goa State Pollution Control Board, Fire Department, Factory Inspectorate)

Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the development, implementation and maintenance of the site EHS management system (ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 aligned).
- Ensure compliance with applicable Indian laws and regulations (Factories Act, Workplace Protection Act, Air & Water Acts, Hazardous Waste Management Rules, CPCB/GSPCB consents, etc.) and with company EHS policies.
- Conduct and coordinate regular EHS inspections, risk assessments (JSA/JHA),



behavioural safety observations and workplace audits; drive corrective actions to closure.
- Lead incident/near-miss investigations, root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions; maintain incident records and trend analysis.
- Plan and deliver EHS training (induction, role-based, contractor safety, emergency response, PPE use, fire drills); maintain training records and measure effectiveness.
- Manage permit-to-work systems, confined space entry, hot work permits and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Oversee hazardous materials management: MSDS, storage, labelling, spill prevention & response, chemical inventory controls, and safe handling procedures.
- Monitor environmental performance: emissions, effluent, noise, waste generation; coordinate sampling, reporting and ensure ETP/STP operations and discharge limits are met.
- Supervise contractor safety and ensure compliance by vendors and service providers.
- Prepare and submit statutory returns, clearance
