Position Overview

We are looking for a strategic and growth-oriented Senior Business Development Manager with deep expertise in MV Switchgear, Smart Grid, and Electrical Automation solutions. The role will focus on identifying new markets, developing strategic partnerships, expanding key accounts, and driving large-value business opportunities across the power and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, markets, and strategic accounts across utilities, EPCs, and industrial sectors.
- Develop and execute long-term business growth strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with consultants, system integrators, EPCs, and key customers.
- Drive acquisition of large-value projects and framework contracts.
- Lead the complete business development cycle, including:
- Market research and opportunity identification
- Lead generation and qualification
- Technical and commercial proposal development
- Client presentations and negotiations
- Deal closure and relationship management




- Develop strong relationships with decision-makers and CXO-level stakeholders.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, customer requirements, and pricing strategies.
- Support the sales team in high-value deal structuring, commercial strategy, and key negotiations.
- Represent the company at industry forums, exhibitions, conferences, and business meetings.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, project, and technical teams to ensure successful business development and project execution.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- 15 to 20 years of experience in B2B Business Development, Technical Sales, or Strategic Sales.
- Solid industry experience in MV Switchgear, Power Distribution, Electrical Automation, or related sectors.
- Proven experience in Smart Grid projects and large infrastructure accounts.
- Exposure to government utilities, DISCOMs, EPC companies, and power-sector projects.
