Job Responsibilities
- Generate and develop new B2B/C&I; solar sales opportunities.
- Identify potential clients including industries, factories, warehouses, hospitals, hotels, schools, commercial buildings, and offices.
- Conduct regular client meetings, cold visits, and site visits.
- Build relationships with business owners, plant heads, facility managers, purchase heads, and key decision-makers.
- Understand client electricity requirements and recommend suitable solar solutions.
- Coordinate with technical teams for site surveys, feasibility assessments, and proposals.
- Prepare and present techno-commercial proposals and quotations.
- Handle pricing discussions, negotiations, and commercial closures.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to order booking.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Maintain sales pipeline and CRM records.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and pricing.
- Coordinate with project execution teams for smooth project handover.
- Develop repeat business and referrals from existing clients.
- Lead and mentor sales team members, wherever applicable.
Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of sales/business development experience.
- Experience in Commercial Solar, Industrial Solar, or Solar EPC will be highly preferred.
- Candidates from Renewable Energy, Electrical, Power, EPC, or Industrial B2B Sales backgrounds may also be considered.
- Proven experience in achieving sales targets and closing high-value B2B projects.
- Solid knowledge of B2B sales, business development, lead generation, and client acquisition.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and deal-closure skills.
