About the Company
We are an established international accounting and business services company with operations in Singapore and Chennai.
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Senior Manager Accounting & Operations to oversee our Chennai operations and coordinate closely with our Singapore office.
This is a hands-on management role for someone who can take ownership of people, workflow, quality and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the Chennai operations team.
- Receive and coordinate assignments from the Singapore office.
- Allocate work to team members and monitor progress.
- Maintain proper tracking of work received, assigned, completed and pending
- Ensure assignments are completed accurately and within deadlines.
- Review accounting and business-service work before final submission.
- Coordinate closely with management on priorities,
deadlines and outstanding matters.
- Follow up with team members and ensure timely completion of assignments.
- Handle and supervise accounting, compliance and taxation-related assignments.
- Prepare regular reports on workload, productivity, pending work and team performance.
- Identify operational issues and recommend improvements.
- Develop and maintain efficient processes and standard operating procedures.
- Support recruitment, training and development of the team as the operation grows.
- Take increasing responsibility for the overall Chennai operations.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration or a related field.
- 5–10 years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience in accounting firms, audit firms, BPO, outsourcing, corporate services or professional services is preferred.
