SourceDesk is looking for an experienced Accountant / Accounts Executive to join our Kolkata office and support our growing portfolio of international clients.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on exposure to Canadian accounting and bookkeeping, along with robust working knowledge of accounting platforms such as QuickBooks Online (QBO), Xero, Sage 50, and QuickBooks Desktop.

The role involves end-to-end bookkeeping, account reconciliation, financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, year-end preparation, and regular communication with Canadian and US-based clients. The candidate will work closely with clients, senior management, CPAs, tax professionals, and auditors to ensure accurate and timely accounting records.

Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting for Canadian and US-based clients.
- Maintain complete and accurate accounting records using QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage, QuickBooks Desktop, and other accounting platforms.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement, Cash Flow Statement,



and other management reports.
- Perform bank, credit card, vendor, customer, and other account reconciliations.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), including vendor bills, customer invoices, payments, collections, and follow-ups.
- Record and maintain sales, purchases, receipts, payments, expenses, journal entries, and other accounting transactions.
- Perform accounting activities up to the finalization of accounts and Balance Sheet.
- Prepare and maintain Debit/Credit Notes and ageing reports for receivables and payables.
- Monitor banking transactions and maintain accurate cash and bank records.
- Assist with cash flow management and financial reporting.
