Role Description
This full-time, remote Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) Engineer role focuses on identifying, analyzing, and reporting security weaknesses across applications, networks, and systems. The engineer will plan and execute penetration tests, perform vulnerability scans, and validate remediation efforts in collaboration with development and infrastructure teams.



Daily tasks include preparing test plans, documenting findings, creating clear technical and non-technical reports, and recommending practical mitigation strategies. The role also involves staying current with emerging threats, security tools, and best practices, supporting continuous improvement of security processes and controls, and contributing to secure architecture reviews when needed.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing, including hands-on experience with common tools (e.g., Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, Nessus, OWASP ZAP).
- Candidates should possess skills in network and system security, such as TCP/IP, firewalls, IDS/IPS, operating system hardening, and secure configuration management.
