Position: Sales & Application Engineer
Location: Bangalore, Karnataka

Role Overview:
The position will be responsible for sales and business development activities for solid carbide cutting tools across Karnataka. The role requires strong technical knowledge, customer-facing experience, application understanding, and proven dealer/channel development experience. The position is Bangalore-based with extensive travel across Karnataka.

Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for solid carbide tools.
- Identify and develop customers across machining, automotive, aerospace, die-mould and job-shop segments.
- Conduct plant visits, understand machining applications and recommend suitable tooling solutions.
- Provide first-level technical support related to tool selection, machining parameters and troubleshooting.
- Conduct product demonstrations, trials and customer training.
- Coordinate with the internal application team for advanced trials and tool performance validation.
- Build, manage and expand the dealer network across Karnataka.




- Train dealers on product features, applications and sales pitches.
- Monitor dealer performance and secondary sales.
- Develop relationships with production heads, machinists and purchase teams.
- Handle customer complaints, technical issues and commercial follow-ups.
- Prepare MIS, sales forecasts and visit reports.
- Gather competitor, pricing and market intelligence.

Mandatory Requirements:
- years of experience specifically in solid carbide or cutting tools sales.
- Strong technical understanding of machining and solid carbide tooling.
- Experience in business development and dealer/channel management.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Robust technical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Karnataka.
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering is preferred.
