Job Purpose

Responsible for managing and overseeing airport pharmacy services, ensuring secure, compliant, efficient and customer-focused operations. The role will also support Airport Medical Services, Public Health Emergency Management and related medical facilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day airport pharmacy operations and service delivery.
- Ensure medication safety, prescription compliance and quality patient care.
- Monitor regulatory, licensing, statutory and audit compliance.
- Manage pharmacy service providers, SLAs, contracts and performance.
- Oversee inventory, procurement, storage, cold-chain and medicine availability.
- Support budgeting, billing, pricing, cost control and revenue generation.
- Conduct audits, inspections and drive continuous improvement.
- Identify operational risks and ensure appropriate mitigation and reporting.
- Support staffing, training, competency development and roster planning.




- Manage patient/customer queries and complaints.
- Coordinate with hospitals, clinics, ambulance providers and airport stakeholders.
- Support business continuity and readiness of medical facilities, including AEDs, oxygen kiosks and first-aid facilities.
- Support public health emergency preparedness, response and vector surveillance.
- Support seamless coordination between Pharmacy Operations and Airport Medical Services.

Education & Experience
- Mandatory: Bachelor's degree from a recognised institution.
- Minimum 8 years of work experience, including at least 2 years in pharmacy/hospital/medical administration or management.
- Proficiency in English and Kannada.
- Pharmacy/Hospital Management or Business Development qualification is desirable.
- Aviation experience will be an added advantage.
