Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D CAD drawings based on engineering specifications, layouts, design inputs and project requirements.
- Develop General Arrangement (GA) drawings, equipment layouts, fabrication drawings, structural drawings and piping layouts.
- Prepare detailed drawings for civil, structural, mechanical and equipment installation works, as applicable to the project.
- Revise drawings based on engineering comments, site requirements and design changes while maintaining proper drawing revision control.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Projects, Procurement, Construction and Site teams to ensure drawings are accurate, practical and suitable for execution.
- Prepare as-built drawings incorporating site modifications and final installation details.
- Verify dimensions, elevations, equipment clearances, interfaces and other critical details before issuing drawings.
- Maintain proper drawing registers, document numbering,



revision records and transmittal records.
- Support the preparation of BOQ/MTO quantities from drawings whenever required.
- Coordinate with vendors, consultants and contractors for drawing submissions, reviews, comments and approvals.
- Ensure all drawings comply with applicable project standards, engineering specifications, approved design criteria and drafting standards.
- Review drawings for accuracy, completeness and consistency before submission or issue for construction.
- Visit project sites whenever required to verify existing conditions, take measurements and incorporate site requirements into drawings.
- Maintain proper documentation of approved and revised drawings for project records.
- Provide drafting support to the engineering and project teams as required.
