Product Owner – Shortened JD

Role Summary

The Product Owner will maximise value delivered by Agile Scrum teams through effective product ownership, stakeholder engagement and outcome-focused delivery. The role acts as the voice of the client, translating business needs into clear user stories and prioritised product outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Own and prioritise the product backlog in line with business and client objectives.
- Define and communicate product vision, roadmap and priorities.
- Create and refine epics, features, user stories and
Given/When/Then acceptance criteria

- Facilitate backlog refinement, requirement-gathering sessions and stakeholder workshops.
- Act as the voice of the customer and translate business needs into actionable requirements.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, UX/UI, Design and Delivery teams.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Reviews, Stand-ups and Retrospectives.
- Ensure delivered solutions meet acceptance criteria and deliver measurable business value.
- Use product metrics,



analytics and stakeholder feedback to support prioritisation and continuous improvement.
- Support product discovery, user research, customer journeys and user-centred design.
- Manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders across business and technology teams.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a
Product Owner / Product Analyst
in an Agile Scrum environment.
- Robust experience in
backlog management, prioritisation, user stories, epics and acceptance criteria
.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and workshop facilitation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a customer-focused mindset.
- Experience working closely with software engineering and cross-functional teams.
- Exposure to
.NET, Java, Python, APIs, integrations or cloud technologies

- Experience with
Microsoft Azure and/or AWS
.
- Understanding of UX/UI, customer journeys and user-centred desi
