Job Description: Assistant Design Manager (Vibro)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team as an Assistant Design Manager at our Thane factory. In this role, you will be responsible for creating error-free machine designs, engineering calculations, and detailed drawings. You will work on machinery like Vibratory Finishing equipment, manage Bill of Materials (BOMs) in our ERP system( Baan ), and support our production and quality teams.
- Location: Thane Factory
- Reporting To: Design Manager (Vibro)
- Candidate : from Thane or up to travelling distance of an hour

What We Are Looking For

Education & Qualification
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized college with a good academic record.

Experience Needed
- 5-6 years of experience in the design department of a machine manufacturing company.
- Experience designing equipment like vibratory Equipments, cleaning systems, , CNC machines, molding equipment, packaging machinery,



or Special Purpose Machines (SPMs).Experience in an automated PLC-based system will be an added advantage
- *Note: We are looking for machine designers only. Candidates with experience only in piping, pressure vessels, or general 3D/2D drafting software companies will not be considered.*

Technical Skills & Knowledge

Machine Design & Calculations
- Strong understanding of basic machine design concepts and engineering math/calculations.
- Positive knowledge of engineering materials and how parts are manufactured.
- Experience working on PLC-operated machines.
- Knowledge of Hydraulics and Pneumatics is a big plus.

Drafting & Software
- Fast and accurate 2D drafting skills in AutoCAD.
- Hands-on experience with 3D modeling specifically in AutoCAD Inventor.
- Comfortable using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Drawings & Component Selection
- Clear knowledge of engineering drawings, including proper dimensioning, limits, fits, and tolerances.
- Experience making General Arrangement
