Role & responsibilities

Maintenance engineer's responsibilities include daily breakdown & prevention maintenance, LLF, 5S & Kaizan & inspecting, maintaining, and repairing equipment, as well as ensuring safety compliance. They may also lead a team of maintenance workers.

Equipment maintenance :-
- Install and maintain equipment
- Conduct routine maintenance and planning for Preventive maintenance.
- Perform corrective maintenance
- Perform preventive maintenance and records for the same
- Replace worn-out parts
- Maintain the documents for internal as well as external audit purpose
- Regular maintenance of the machinery, equipment to minimize breakdowns and ensure smooth operations
- Safety compliance Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, Use lockout/ tag-out procedures, and Use personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Troubleshooting Inspect and troubleshoot equipment, Identify the cause of a mechanical issue, Find a suitable solution, and Conduct fault analysis
- Daily LLF round & making points,
- Allocated area to maintain 5S,
- MOC Job,




- Update drawing as per requirement,
- Day to day reporting in a system,
- Ensuring Leakeges, Crecks & faliur under extra pressure & heat
- Ensure asset operate with maximum uptime
- Inspect and repair of static & rotating equipment
- Preventive maintenance - using tools of vibration analysis, thermography & oil vibration analysis to predict failure before then happen
- RCA investigate equipment failure to ensure they happen again by addressing the underlying mechanical issue
- rounds to check vibration overheating bearings, unusual noice in heating bearings unusual notice in rotate equipment,
- Productive identify & stopping leaks
- Monitoring alarm & equipment trends in control room
- Breakdown maintenance diagnose the decided issue
