Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Plant Operations Management Manage overall day-to-day biodiesel plant operations and ensure smooth, secure, and continuous production.

2. Production Planning Prepare and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production plans to achieve production targets and customer requirements.

3. Process Control & Yield Improvement Monitor esterification, transesterification, methanol recovery, distillation, washing, settling, and related processes to improve yield and reduce production losses.

4. Raw Material Management – Monitor the consumption and quality of raw materials such as UCO, acid oil, tallow, methanol, catalysts, and other process chemicals.

5. Quality Management– Ensure finished biodiesel meets required quality specifications and coordinate with the Quality Control team for testing and release of finished products.

6. Maintenance Coordination – Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance of reactors, pumps, tanks, boilers, cooling towers, utilities, pipelines,



and other plant equipment to minimize downtime.

7. Safety & Statutory Compliance – Ensure strict compliance with EHS requirements, Factory Rules, Pollution Control Board requirements, Fire & Safety standards, PESO requirements, and other applicable statutory regulations.

8. Manpower Management– Supervise production engineers, operators, technicians, helpers, and shift teams; allocate manpower and ensure proper discipline, training, and productivity.

9. Cost & Utility Control – Monitor production costs, power, steam, fuel, water, methanol, chemicals, and other utility consumption and implement measures to reduce operating costs.

10. MIS & Management Reporting – Maintain production, yield, raw material consumption, stock, breakdown, safety, and utility records and submit regular operational reports to senior management.
