- Design & Analysis: Creating detailed structural plans, drawings, and blueprints for current structures or rehabilitation projects.
- Load Calculations: Calculating pressure, tension, stress, and load-bearing capacities for foundations, beams, and walls.
- Material Selection: Choosing appropriate materials, such as steel, concrete, or timber, to meet structural specifications.
- Simulation: Using specialized computer-aided design (CAD) software to model how structures react to environmental conditions like wind or earthquakes.
- Inspection & Oversight: Inspecting construction sites to verify work is done according to plans and ensuring the safety of existing structures.
- Collaboration: Working with architects, contractors, and project managers to ensure compliance with safety codes and project timelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: A bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil or structural engineering.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with STAAD Pro, Basic Knowledge of CAD, Revit.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction materials.
