Job Title: Informatica Developer

Location: Hyderabad/ Bengaluru/ Chennai (Remote)
Contract Duration: 2-4 Months
Overlap: Up to 1 to 2 PM EST
Dual Employment: Not allowed, Must be terminated if applicable.
Role Summary
We are seeking an Informatica Developer to join our Data Engineering team. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica, strong SQL skills, and working knowledge of Google BigQuery and Shell scripting.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL/ELT workflows using Informatica PowerCenter and/or Informatica Cloud.
Author complex and optimized SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and reporting.
Integrate and process data in Google BigQuery and support data warehousing activities.
Develop and maintain Shell scripts to automate data processing, job orchestration, and operational tasks.
Perform data mapping, transformations, data quality checks, and ensure data consistency across multiple source systems.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to ETL workflows, data pipelines, job failures, and data quality incidents.
Perform performance tuning and optimization of ETL mappings, workflows, and SQL queries.
Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Architects, Analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable data solutions.
Create and maintain clear technical documentation for ETL processes, data flows, and operational runbooks.
Requirements
5+ years of qualified experience in Informatica development (PowerCenter and/or Informatica Cloud).
Strong hands-on SQL skills including complex joins, subqueries, CTEs, window functions, aggregations, and query optimization.
Practical experience working with Google BigQuery or similar cloud data warehouses.
Proven experience with Shell scripting for automation and operational tasks.
Solid understanding of ETL/ELT c
