Position Overview: The Purchase Assistant is responsible for managing the procurement of materials and supplies necessary for the production of woven sacks. This role involves strategic sourcing, vendor management, and ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor Management:
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to ensure favorable pricing and quality.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and assess their performance regularly.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company goals.
- Ensure timely purchasing of raw materials (e.g., polypropylene, additives) to meet production schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Conduct quality assessments of incoming materials to ensure they meet industry standards and specifications.




- Address any quality issues with suppliers promptly and implement corrective actions.
- Cost Management:
- Analyze market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare reports on purchasing activities and cost analysis for management review.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with production, quality control, and logistics teams to align procurement with operational needs.
- Coordinate with finance for budgeting and payment processes related to purchases.
- Compliance:
- Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier agreements.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
