Role: Senior Sales Associate
Department: Retail / Store Operations
Reports to: Store Manager

Key responsibilities:
- Welcome walk-in customers and guide them toward the eye-checkup/clinic.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable frames, lenses, sunglasses and accessories.
- Use information from the optometrist and customer to recommend the right products.
- Drive sales, eye-test conversion and return-rate targets.
- Handle customer queries and resolve complaints to improve customer satisfaction.
- Operate the POS system and process transactions accurately.
- Coordinate product pickup/delivery and verify the fitted lenses before handover.
- Maintain stock, participate in stocktakes and identify inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain store hygiene,



product displays and visual-merchandising standards.
- Follow Lenskart's SOPs and ensure smooth day-to-day store operations.

Eligibility / skills
- Typically 12th pass; graduates preferred.
- Strong communication and active-listening skills.
- Customer-oriented and target-driven.
- Ability to understand customer needs and recommend solutions.
- Valuable knowledge of eyewear products is useful.
- Basic computer/POS knowledge.
- Ability to multitask and work in rotational shifts.

Career path: SSA Store Manager / higher retail operations roles, depending on performance and experience.
