US IT Recruiter Job Description

Position: US IT Recruiter
Experience: 1–8 Years
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Responsibilities:
- Handle the complete recruitment life cycle for US IT positions.
- Source candidates through job portals such as Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, LinkedIn, and other recruiting platforms.
- Review resumes and screen candidates based on technical skills, experience, location, work authorization, and job requirements.
- Work closely with hiring managers and account managers to understand job requirements.
- Conduct initial candidate screening and technical discussions.
- Maintain a strong candidate pipeline for current and future requirements.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and clients.
- Follow up with candidates throughout the interview and onboarding process.
- Negotiate pay rates and coordinate offer processes with candidates.
- Maintain accurate candidate information and recruitment activity in ATS/CRM systems.
- Understand different US work authorization types, including H-1B, H-4 EAD, Green Card, OPT, CPT, and US Citizens.




- Build and maintain relationships with candidates, consultants, vendors, and clients.
- Meet daily and monthly recruitment targets.

Required Skill Set

1. US IT Recruiting: Strong understanding of the US IT staffing and recruitment process.

2. Job Portals: Experience using Dice, LinkedIn, Indeed, Monster, CareerBuilder, and other sourcing platforms.

3. Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of technologies such as Java, .NET, Python, Data Engineering, DevOps, Salesforce, QA, Cloud, Business Analyst, and Cybersecurity.

4. Candidate Screening: Ability to analyze resumes and match candidates with job requirements.

5. Communication: Solid verbal and written communication skills.

6. US Work Authorization: Basic knowledge of H-1B, OPT, CPT, GC, EAD, and US Citizen candidates.

7. Negotiation: Ability to negotiate rates, coordinate offers, and manage candidate expectations.

8. ATS/CRM: Experience mai
