About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with hands-on experience in Canadian Accounting and General Accounting Operations. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in full-cycle accounting, General Ledger Accounting, Journal Entries, Bank and Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Month-End Close and Financial Reporting, along with working knowledge of Canadian accounting practices and GST/HST.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day full-cycle accounting activities for Canadian clients/entities.
- Prepare and post Journal Entries, Accruals, Prepayments and Accounting Adjustments.
- Perform General Ledger, Bank and Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
- Support Month-End, Quarter-End and Year-End Close activities.
- Prepare monthly financial and management reports.
- Support GST/HST-related accounting activities and reconciliations.
- Review accounting transactions and investigate discrepancies.




- Maintain supporting schedules for financial reporting and audit requirements.
- Support Intercompany Accounting and reconciliations where applicable.
- Assist with year-end close and external audit/review requirements.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, clients, auditors and other finance teams.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting policies and internal controls.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting efficiency.

Key Software

QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets; experience with other accounting or ERP systems will also be considered.
