Job Description:
CreditAssessment&Underwriting;
- Review Retail Secured loan applications and assess borrower creditworthiness.
- Conduct detailed analysis of customer profiles, income, repayment capacity, banking behavior, and collateral security.
- Evaluate property and other security-related documents to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate potential credit risks before recommending proposals.
DueDiligence&Verification;
- Ensure all credit proposals undergo the required due diligence checks.
- Validate customer information, financial documents, bureau reports, and collateral details.
- Monitor adherence to underwriting standards and risk parameters.
StakeholderManagement
- Coordinate with Sales and Business teams to resolve credit observations and risk concerns.
- Provide guidance to sales teams on policy requirements and documentation gaps.




- Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth processing of cases.
Approval&Recommendation;
- Prepare independent credit notes and recommendations based on risk evaluation.
- Recommend proposals to State Credit Manager, Zonal Credit Manager, or National Credit Manager as per delegation matrix.
- Ensure all recommendations are supported by sound credit rationale and documented analysis.
Portfolio&RiskMonitoring;
- Monitor portfolio quality and identify emerging risk trends within the assigned area.
- Highlight deviations, exceptions, and high-risk exposures to senior credit authorities.
- Support implementation of risk management initiatives and policy changes.
Process&Compliance;
- Ensure credit decisions comply with company policies, regulatory guidelines, and audit requirements.
- Maintain stipulated turnaround times (TAT) for credit decisions.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and justification
