[strong data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody"]Role Description - This role is responsible for providing Knowledge Transition management, architectural leadership for Clients IBM i (AS/400) application landscape, encompassing platform modernization, API enablement, and AI-led engineering transformation initiatives.

Must Have
- Deep expertise in IBM i (AS/400), RPG IV, RPGLE, Free Format RPG, ILE RPG, SQLRPGLE, CLLE, DB2 for i, and IBM i application architecture.
- Extensive experience in architecting, designing, and governing large-scale enterprise applications supporting mission-critical business functions.
- Proven experience leading IBM i modernization initiatives, including RPG refactoring, ILE RPG conversion, API enablement, service-oriented architecture, and legacy application transformation.
- Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring architects, technical leads, and engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of AI-assisted software engineering practices, including code analysis, reverse engineering,



business rule extraction, test generation, impact analysis, and modernization acceleration.
- Ability to collaborate with executive stakeholders, business leaders, and delivery teams to align technology strategy with business objectives.
- Working knowledge of DevOps practices, source control, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release automation.

Good to Have
- Experience implementing AI-first SDLC models leveraging tools such as GitHub Copilot, Devin, IBM Bob, or similar Agentic AI platforms.
- Exposure to cloud integration and contemporary application integration patterns.
- Knowledge and experience in the Insurance domain, specifically Policy Administration Systems, policy lifecycle management, billing, servicing, claims, and related business processes
