Role & responsibilities
- Develop B2B and institutional sales for agrochemical formulations across India.
- Identify and develop customers including agrochemical companies, brands, formulators, distributors and institutional buyers.
- Leverage existing industry relationships to generate new business opportunities.
- Recommend commercially viable products/formulations based on market demand, competition, pricing and manufacturing feasibility.
- Identify opportunities across insecticides, herbicides, fungicides, PGRs and related crop-protection products.
- Conduct market intelligence on high-volume and high-potential molecules/formulations along with import substitution potential and raw material availability.
- Work with production, technical, procurement and management teams for current-product commercialisation and scale-up decisions.
- Support costing, pricing, proposals, contracts, techno-commercial negotiations and customer development.
- Track competitor products, pricing, market trends and regulatory developments.




- Assist management in building the medium- and long-term agrochemical product portfolio.
- Develop annual sales targets, customer pipeline and product wise business plans.
- Track CIB registration requirements and competitor capacities

Preferred candidate profile
- 8-15 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in agrochemicals, pesticides or crop protection.
- Strong understanding of agrochemical formulations and commercial applications.
- Proven B2B / institutional sales experience preferred.
- Existing relationships within the Indian agrochemical industry.
- Exposure to product management, portfolio development or new-product commercialization preferred.
- Strong understanding of insecticides, herbicides and fungicides.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
- Commercially strong with sound technical understanding.
- Graduate in Agriculture, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Agrochemicals or related field; postgraduate qualification / MBA pre
