About the Role
Orifields International Private Limited is a growing Indian spice sourcing and export company. We are looking for a Spice Sourcing & Business Development Coordinator to work remotely and support our supplier sourcing, procurement and customer development activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Call and develop relationships with spice suppliers, traders and processors.
- Source competitive prices and reliable suppliers for Indian spices.
- Visit suppliers in Kerala when required and collect samples/product information.
- Coordinate basic product quality checks and laboratory testing when required.
- Understand basic spice quality parameters and COA/lab reports.
- Attend online client/buyer calls and understand their requirements.
- Follow up with suppliers and customers through phone, WhatsApp and email.
- Identify and develop qualified buyer leads.
- Maintain supplier, customer, pricing and sample records.
- Provide regular updates to management.
Who We Are Looking For
- 0 to 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Experience in spices, food products, procurement, trading, quality or business development is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of spices and their quality requirements.
- Basic understanding of laboratory testing and COA is preferred.
- Good English and Malayalam communication skills.
- Confident in phone calls and online meetings.
- Positive negotiation and follow-up skills.
- Willing to travel for supplier visits when required.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently from home.
- Own laptop, smartphone and reliable internet required.
Fresh graduates with good communication skills and a willingness to learn are also welcome to apply.
