Purpose/Objective

The role oversees strategic financial leadership and governance for capital projects by ensuring effective budgeting, fund mobilization, financial control, cost optimization, and risk management.
The role is responsible for driving financial discipline, compliance with internal controls, and accurate reporting while leveraging digital and emerging technologies to enhance decision-making, operational efficiency, and overall project value creation.

Key Responsibilities of Role
- Strategy and Budget: Ensuring that capital expenditure plans are aligned with the company's long-term strategic goals.
- Mobilization, deployment and utilization of fund: Ensuring that funds are available and deployed efficiently to support project activities.
Monitoring the utilization of funds to ensure theyare used effectively and for their intended purposes.
- Financial Controlling /Reporting: Monitor spending against the budget and its variances.
Ensure timely and accurate financial reports to management and stakeholders.
- Cost Optimization:



Implementing measures to control costs and prevent overspending.
Applying value engineering techniques to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
Supporting commercial negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Risk identification and assessment: Identifying potential financial risks associated with projects, Assessing the impact and probability of identified risks.
and Developing and implementing strategies to mitigate risks.
- Governance and compliance: Developing and ensuring compliance with internal SOP.
Implementing robust internal and conducting regular reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Digital Mindset: Overview of digital, AI and other emerging technologies and the ability to proactively identify opportunities through recent age technologies and enhance business outcomes to maintain a competitive edge.
