Role & responsibilities

1. Operations & Service Management
- Oversee daily operations across cloud, infrastructure, and application environments.
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of critical systems.
- Manage incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Drive root-cause analysis (RCA) and permanent fixes for recurring issues.

2. Team Leadership & People Management
- Lead and mentor L1/L2/L3 engineering teams.
- Manage workforce planning, shift schedules, and resource utilization.
- Conduct performance reviews and training for continuous skill improvement.

3. Process Governance & Compliance
- Maintain operational SOPs, runbooks, and process documentation.
- Ensure compliance with ISO, SOC, ITIL, security, and audit requirements.
- Implement process automation and best practices to improve operational maturity.

4. Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Act as the escalation point for internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate with cloud providers, OEMs, and service partners.
- Manage vendor SLAs and ensure timely delivery of services.

Continuous Improvement & Transformation
- Drive automation initiatives for operational efficiency (e.g., scripts, workflows).
- Implement monitoring, observability, and operational tooling enhancements.
- Contribute to digital transformation and cloud modernization roadmaps.

Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent.
- 10+ years of experience in IT operations, cloud operations, or infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of Azure/AWS/GCP, virtualization, networking, and security.
- Hands-on with ITIL frameworks; ITIL certification preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and decisionmaking capabilities
- Experience managing large-scale cloud/hybrid environments.
- Certification in cloud platforms (Azure/AWS Solutions Architect, etc.).
- Experience in automation
