Job Summary

We are looking for a Design & Costing Engineer with hands-on experience in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, sheet-metal fabrication, and engineering costing. The candidate should be capable of independently handling design, drawings, BOM preparation, estimation, and costing activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Create 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Understand customer requirements and prepare fabrication-ready designs.
- Prepare BOMs, material requirements, and costing sheets.
- Estimate material, fabrication, machining, welding, laser cutting, bending, and finishing costs.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and material optimization.
- Coordinate with production, purchase, and vendors as required.
- Resolve design and drawing-related issues during production.





Mandatory Skills
- SolidWorks & AutoCAD
- 2D drafting and 3D modelling
- Sheet-metal design and fabrication knowledge
- Understanding of laser cutting, bending, welding, machining, and powder coating
- Material estimation, BOM preparation, and product costing
- Good knowledge of engineering drawings and MS Excel
- Ability to work independently and handle projects with minimal supervision.
