POSITION OVERVIEW
The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for the success of New Product Development projects throughout the full project life cycle, acting as the key technical and operational liaison between India and its global counterparts. The role manages multiple projects simultaneously, provides daily support to development teams across design, manufacturing, marketing, supply chain, and finance, and manages timelines while clearly communicating status to stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project Leadership & Delivery
o Direct and execute New Product Development projects across the full life cycle, managing multiple projects simultaneously to meet launch goals.
o Kick off project management processes and establish project budgets (engineering hours, tooling, and piece cost) with Engineering and Portfolio Managers.
o Ensure cost targets, quality requirements, and timelines are met with the lowest possible manpower and cost effort.
