This is a project based opportunity for Freelancers/Independent Consultants.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities to automate manufacturing operations across assembly, pressing, packaging, warehousing and material handling
- Assess current processes and identify high-ROI automation opportunities
- Develop an automation roadmap prioritizing initiatives by impact, feasibility, capex and payback
- Evaluate and recommend automation technologies, equipment and systems
- Design / validate automation concepts, line layouts and process flows
- Drive implementation and commissioning of automation projects with internal teams and vendors
- Develop business cases covering capex, operating savings, productivity gains and ROI
- Help establish automation standards,



SOPs and scalable solutions across plants
- Hand-hold the manufacturing team through implementation and build internal automation capabilities

Skills Required:
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing automation and operations
- Strong hands-on experience in factory automation and industrial robotics
- Experience automating assembly lines, pressing operations, material handling, warehousing and/or packaging
- Experience in manufacturing process design, line balancing and productivity improvement
- Proven track record of identifying and implementing automation projects end-to-end
- Robust understanding of automation economics, capex planning and ROI/payback
- Ability to work hands-on with plant and engineering teams
