Key Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with
Ignition SCADA
– Perspective, Gateway, Tags, UDTs & Templates
- Ignition installation, configuration, architecture, licensing & administration
- Python/Jython
scripting within Ignition
- PostgreSQL
– Historian, reporting & transactions
- PLC communication protocols:
OPC UA/DA, Modbus TCP, Ethernet/IP, TCP/UDP
- Basic
Java
knowledge for custom Ignition module support
- Good to have:
OT/IT Integration, APIs & gRPC

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, configure and validate SCADA solutions for industrial automation systems




- Configure Ignition Tags, UDTs, Alarms, Historian and data models
- Develop Python/Jython scripts and PostgreSQL-based solutions
- Integrate SCADA with PLCs, field devices and backend applications
- Collaborate with Java/.NET teams on custom Ignition modules and gRPC-based integrations
- Perform end-to-end system integration and testing
