Join us as a Chef Kitchen Intern and gain hands-on experience in a professional café kitchen while working closely with our culinary team. You will support daily food preparation, plating, kitchen operations, hygiene, inventory management, and new menu development.

This internship is ideal for someone who is passionate about food, interested in café-style and continental cuisine, and eager to learn professional kitchen techniques. You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced workplace, learn from experienced kitchen professionals, and develop practical skills in food preparation, presentation, kitchen safety, and menu innovation.

Responsibilities
- Assist the Chef and kitchen team in preparing and presenting menu items according to Cafe SABE's quality and presentation standards.
- Support daily kitchen operations and ensure timely food preparation during service hours.
- Assist in maintaining consistency in taste, portioning, plating, and presentation.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and kitchen safety standards at all times.




- Assist with preparation of ingredients, including washing, cutting, portioning, marinating, and basic cooking.
- Learn and follow standard recipes, preparation methods, and portion-control guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, kitchen equipment, and storage areas.
- Assist in checking ingredient availability and reporting low-stock items to the Chef or management.
- Support proper storage and handling of food ingredients as per hygiene standards.
- Assist in minimizing food wastage and maintaining efficient use of ingredients.
- Work collaboratively with chefs, kitchen assistants, baristas, and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Learn and follow proper food handling, kitchen safety, and operational procedures.
- Assist with recipe trials, tastings, and preparation of new dishes.
- Participate in new menu development, including testing, refining, and presenting new dish
