Job Title : Warehouse – Quality Check Role Summary

Responsible for inspecting and verifying textile raw materials, fabrics, trims, accessories, packing materials, and finished goods received into or dispatched from the warehouse. The role ensures materials meet approved quality standards and specifications before being accepted, stored, issued to production, or dispatched to customers.

Key Responsibilities

· Inspect incoming fabric, yarn, trims, accessories, garments, and packing materials according to approved specifications.

· Verify material quantity, quality, color/shade, lot/batch number, GSM, width, composition, and other applicable parameters.

· Check materials against Purchase Orders, delivery documents, inspection standards, and approved samples.

· Identify and segregate defective, damaged, stained, rejected, or non-conforming materials.

· Conduct fabric inspection for defects such as:

o Holes and cuts

o Stains and oil marks

o Shade variation

o Slubs and yarn defects

o Weaving/knitting defects

o Printing and dyeing defects





o Uneven width or GSM

· Check garment/final product quality for stitching, measurement, appearance, finishing, labels, packing, and workmanship, where applicable.

· Ensure proper identification and segregation of OK, Hold, Rework, and Rejected materials.

· Maintain inspection records, check sheets, rejection reports, and non-conformance reports.

· Coordinate with QA/QC, Production, Purchase, Stores, PPC, and Suppliers regarding quality issues.

· Report material discrepancies and quality problems to the concerned department immediately.

· Support supplier quality evaluation and follow up on replacement or corrective actions.

· Conduct random checks of stored materials to identify damage, deterioration, contamination, or improper storage.

· Ensure proper storage conditions and handling practices to prevent quality deterioration.

· Verify dispatch materials before shipment to ensure the correct style,
