Role & responsibilities

Implement and monitor environmental management systems (EMS) as per ISO 14001.

Ensure compliance with pollution control board norms (APPCB) and handle renewals of environmental consents (CTE/CTO).

Maintain records and coordinate for audits related to waste management, water treatment, and air emissions.

Oversee hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal as per legal requirements.

Develop and enforce safety policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all manufacturing areas (Cell, Module, Utilities, etc.).
- Conduct risk assessments (JSA, HIRA) and ensure mitigation plans are implemented.
- Monitor occupational health programs, emergency preparedness, and first aid facilities.
- Organize periodic safety inspections,



internal audits, and safety committee meetings.
- Conduct regular EHS training and safety drills for employees and contractors.
- Drive employee engagement programs such as Safety Week, Workplace Day, etc.
- Maintain all statutory documentation and coordinate with local authorities for inspections.
- Prepare and submit monthly EHS performance reports, incident investigations, and root cause analyses.
- Support ISO audits (45001/14001) and internal EHS performance reviews.
