Qualcomm is hiring a Software Engineer for its AI software team focused on edge GenAI and ML runtime development. The role centers on building and commercializing Qualcomm AI Runtime and ML solutions on Snapdragon and Qualcomm SoCs.

- Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of software engineering experience
- Master's degree and 3+ years of software engineering experience
- PhD and 2+ years of software engineering experience
- 2+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python
- 9-14 years of relevant work experience in software development




- More than 9 years in software, with 1+ year focused on LLM/Generative AI systems

Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- Master's or bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software
- Design system-level software solutions with systems, hardware, architecture, and test teams
- Integrate cutting edge GenAI models on Qualcomm chipsets
- Enable inference of GenAI models on device without cloud connection
- Develop and commercialize Qualcomm AI Runtime
- Push performance limits for large model inference
- Deploy large C/C++ software stacks using best practices
- Build and optimize the AI/ML stack on multiple
