Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive sales and develop new business opportunities for our automotive manufacturing business. The candidate will be responsible for identifying prospective customers, generating enquiries, developing institutional and government business, handling tenders, negotiating commercial terms and converting opportunities into orders.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop recent business opportunities in the automotive and specialized vehicle manufacturing sector.
- Generate leads through market research, networking, customer references, industry contacts and direct visits.
- Develop business with government departments, municipal corporations, PSUs, contractors, fleet operators and corporate customers.
- Identify relevant government tenders and coordinate the tendering process from opportunity identification to order finalization.
- Visit government offices, customer locations, project sites and other potential business locations regularly.




- Understand customer requirements and coordinate with the technical/design team for suitable product solutions.
- Prepare and submit quotations, commercial proposals and presentations.
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, delivery schedules and contracts.
- Follow up on enquiries, quotations and tenders and ensure timely closure.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and generate repeat business.
- Conduct competitor and market analysis and provide market intelligence to management.
- Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Purchase, Finance and Service teams for smooth execution of customer orders.
- Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly and annual business development targets.
- Maintain sales pipeline, customer database and regular MIS reports.

Required Qualification & Experience
- Graduate / Diploma / Degree in Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in automotive, commerc
