Job Description – Sales Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented Sales Executive to develop new business, maintain strong customer relationships, generate sales, and achieve assigned sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets.
- Identify and develop recent customers and business opportunities.
- Visit customers, dealers, distributors, and project sites as required.
- Generate leads and convert them into sales.
- Maintain regular follow-up with existing and prospective customers.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products.
- Prepare quotations and coordinate with the concerned departments.
- Negotiate prices and commercial terms within company guidelines.
- Coordinate with the accounts and dispatch teams for timely order execution and payment collection.
- Maintain proper records of customer visits, leads, orders,



and follow-ups.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments from customers.
- Build long-term relationships with customers and dealers.
- Submit daily/weekly sales and follow-up reports to the reporting manager.

Required Skills
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong customer-handling and relationship-building ability.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated.
- Good follow-up and convincing skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and email.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits when required.

Qualification & Experience
- Education: Graduate preferred.
- Experience: 1–5 years in sales, preferably in building materials, doors, interior products, construction materials, or a related industry.
