Job Summary

The General Manager – Sales will be responsible for leading the overall sales function, developing business strategies, achieving sales and revenue targets, managing key customers, and expanding the company's market presence. The role requires robust knowledge of the steel industry, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage sales teams, dealers, and institutional customers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Strategy & Business Development
- Develop and implement the company's overall sales strategy and business plan.
- Set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the sales team.
- Identify new markets, customers, dealers, distributors, and business opportunities.
- Expand the company's presence across Rajasthan and other assigned markets.
- Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities.




- Develop strategies to increase sales volume, revenue, and profitability.

2. Team Management
- Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team.
- Allocate sales targets and territories to team members.
- Monitor individual and team performance.
- Conduct regular sales review meetings.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and training to sales personnel.
- Ensure achievement of assigned sales targets.

3. Dealer & Vendor Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers and distributors.
- Appoint new dealers/distributors as per business requirements.
- Monitor dealer performance, sales volume, stock, and outstanding payments.
- Resolve dealer and distributor grievances.
- Develop schemes and business strategies to improve channel sales.

4. Key Account & Institutional Sales
- Manage relationships with major customers, contractors, builders, fabricators, and institutional clients.
