Role & responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for conduct of business with regards to manufacturing activities for Malur factory.

To take all the necessary steps to ensure compliance of various provisions of the drugs and cosmetic act, 1940 and rules, 1945, conditions of license, current Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure quality of Drugs manufactured and sold and distributed from the factory.

Responsible for the total compliance of the statutory requirements under the various enactments of both the state and central government like Drugs Enactments as are applicable to our plants.

To function as Occupier under the statutory provisions of the Factories Act, 1880 and all other applicable laws and is required to comply with all requirements thereof.

To ensure for production planning, scheduling and control at both the factories. This responsibility covers both quantitative targets depending upon the requirements from time to time and responsible for increasing the yield and minimize the production losses.

Responsible for upholding the quality policy of the company by maintaining strict cGMP, and international standards as regards to production systems.

To maintain optimum levels of inventory of all raw and packing materials and finished goods. To closely liaise with supply- chain management team for requirements of all inputs and services and with the marketing division and third parties and loan licenses in respect of their requirements.

To advise the Board of Directors in their endeavor to expand / modernize the existing plants and also any possible new venture the Board may think fit to carry on current activities.

To endeavor to develop new products or to introduce new and cost effective / quality enhancing products, methods and services.

Ensure the good industrial relations and strives to develop the overall skills and knowledge of the staff and workers.
