Role & responsibilities

Qualifications:
• 10+ years of experience in Installing, Configuringm Building, managing, supporting Kubernetes/OpenShift administration.
• Strong Work experience on Linux system administration.
• Strong understanding of container orchestration, networking, and storage in Openshift/Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with OpenShift CLI (oc), Helm, and GitOps tools.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD).
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, etc.) for automation.
• Monitor and maintain OpenShift/Kubernetes clusters across environments (Dev, QA, Prod).
• Perform routine health checks, patching, upgrades, and capacity planning in Openshift/Kubernetes.
• Manage container lifecycle, including image management, deployments, and rollbacks.




• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to pods, nodes, networking, and storage.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines integrated with OpenShift.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and apply necessary controls (RBAC, secrets management, etc.).
• Maintain documentation for operational procedures and configurations.
• Solid problem-solving and communication skills.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation to support production systems.

Preferred Certification:
• OpenShift certification (e.g., Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS).
• Exposure to ITIL processes and incident/change management tools (ServiceNow, Jira).
